THE JUBILANT OPUS OF THE DAY
Brontae Hunter's début studio album and audio play
The Jubilant Opus of the Day is a studio album and audio drama that follows the journey of a young woman discovering her relationship to music. After leaving a small town to train as a classical singer, she finds herself feeling like a fish out of water. She explores family, romance, ancestral connections, but all in all finds freedom in the music itself.
The Jubilant Opus of the Day was primarily a Montreal based project, however it was recorded in several locations: from Stratford, Ontario, to Charlottetown, PEI, to Whitehorse, YT. It is a testament to the resiliency and spirit of independent artists, and features some of the finest musical talent of our generation.
